Day 19 – Chloe

Section 19 and we are nearly halfway! Today was cloudy and dull, weather wise. The park had a consistent amount of people in it and there were even people playing tennis on the tennis courts. It was a mixture of people, an elderly couple sitting on a bench and then people with children playing. One couple (grandparents) were with a little boy, evidently called Arthur as they kept shouting his name in encouragement as he was riding his bike with no stabilisers. His little sister, Judy, was on her scooter and spent quite a bit of time riding with Chloe encouraging her whilst on her own scooter. Another little girl was also learning to ride without stabilisers and Chloe was like a coach next to her shouting from her scooter, ‘you can do it’, ‘keep going’ and other such things. There were also a few groups of what my father would call ‘youths’ meaning he wasn’t very keen and thought them to be potential troublemakers. I think this is a common thing of this park that groups of teenagers, not students, can gather and for a lot of people it seems intimidating. There are also a couple of dog walkers. One is in my section, much to Chloe’s delight and is called Max.

Things in this area: 1 small tree, lots of paths, bush with flowers and leaves and thistles and nettles, fly, insect eggs, cuckoo spit, 1 dog poo, 25 pieces of rubbish, lots of cigarette ends, grass, buttercups, clover, daisies, 1 tree stump.

Things I saw
Max
